Reflection

Part 1:
There are 12 dimensions I will describe about some of them. The first dimension is growth and the polarities of it are personal and material and this means that you prefer to improve the people or the materials. The second dimension is context and the polarities of it are formal and informal and this means that if you prefer to act formally or informally. The third dimension is expression and the polarities are reveal and conceal and this means is you prefer to reveal your feeling such as your sadness or you prefer to conceal it. The fourth dimension is Communication and there are two types of communication the first type is direct and the second indirect communication and this means that you speak to others directly or not.

Part2:
On my CMI result I learnt many things and I agree with some of the results and disagree with some. The first dimension is context and I act sometimes formally and sometimes informally this is why my context result is in the middle and I agree with this result. The second dimension that I agree is planning and I am interested on time more than the people and this will make me more organize. The first dimension that I disagree is growth because I prefer to improve the personal and I don’t improve the materials and this is wrong because the work won’t be efficient by good stuff only I must improve the material as well. The second dimension that I don’t agree is decision making because I choose the relationship against the rules and this will cause many problems and will give many people things that they don’t deserve.

Part 3:

I think my result will be different after five years and there is many reasons I will write it. The first reason is that my thinking will change. The second reason is my culture will change. The third reason is my interest will change. I would like to change some dimension. The first dimension is Outlook because I am interested on innovation more than tradition and this will affect my tradition and maybe I will forget my tradition. The second dimension I would like to change it is decision making because I choose the relationship against the rules and this will give many people things that they don’t deserve.

The second dimension is growth and the polarity is people because they want to improve the people not the materials. The third dimension which is the last one outlook and the polarity is innovation because they want to change and improve the future of the UAE culture.

Exercise #4

The culture and the 12 Dimensions influence on three things the first one is the life choices and the second is the thinking and third is sense of group / accountability. I will write about the Amish model. Firstly how the Amish model influence on the life choices? In the Amish model they give the people some choices to choose one of it they don’t give them all the choices. Secondly about the Amish people they are very simple people and they are peaceful people. The Amish people don’t use the guns and they hate killing others. Thirdly is that the Amish people sense of group and they don’t like to live alone. The Amish people also accountable as a group not individual. In my experience I know that the Amish don’t use the cars and prefer to use the horses and they use direct communication.

How the Arabic culture influence our choices?

The Arabic culture influence in our choices in many things. For example I can’t work in everywhere because there is some places that shame to work on it such as a company that sell alcohol.
